The need to manage the world’s natural resources sustainably has become increasingly apparent, especially now that the impact of human actions on our planet is becoming all too evident. So sustainability is a major priority for IHC Merwede.

IHC Merwede is committed to operating in an environmentally sustainable manner to protect the environment from the impact of its activities and to improve environmental performance.

Our environmental strategy is to:

• Take all reasonable measure to control appropriate environmental impacts by reference to the available technology and industry best practice;
• Identify and assess the risks of pollution and other environmental impacts associated with operations of IHC Merwede.

Initiatives to improve IHC Merwede's environmental performance include energy, waste minimisation, raw material efficiency and recycling.
